CareerSet is a remote EdTech start-up on a mission to help students get hired. We work with careers centres at 100+ universities and business schools to improve student employability.
While employers and recruiters use increasingly advanced recruitment systems, we help create a more level playing field for students and job seekers. Our tools enable them to improve and tailor their CVs, cover letters and LinkedIn profiles, practise for interviews and gain career insights. Our solutions support over one million students worldwide.
About the role
As an Account Executive, you will play an important role in driving CareerSet’s growth by managing the full sales cycle and building client relationships with our European customers and prospects.
We already work with leading universities and business schools, including Cambridge, LSE, Audencia, Nova SBE, RSM Erasmus and SDA Bocconi. Your role will be to build on this success across Europe.
About you
- Fluent English speaker with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-starter with strong sales drive and ambition
- Confident presenter who enjoys building relationships and helping people
- Experience in a B2B customer-facing sales role, ideally within software or SaaS
- Comfortable managing deals and working independently
- Bachelor’s degree/business school degree
What you will be doing
- Carrying out business development through email, LinkedIn and calling
- Conducting online product demonstrations and sales conversations
- Managing the full sales cycle across a portfolio of prospective accounts
- Leading negotiations, legal and privacy reviews, and approval processes
- Maintaining sales activity and account plans in HubSpot
- Managing relationships with prospects, customers and partners

Location
Your base location is flexible. However, CareerSet is currently registered as a legal entity and employer in the UK. Candidates based outside the UK would join as independent contractors and invoice CareerSet monthly.
