Position Summary
Solution Architect for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement – Customer Insights
We're seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect with deep expertise in Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (D365 CE), with a strong specialization in Customer Insights – Journeys (CIJ) and desirable experience in Customer Insights – Data (CID).
Based in Italy, this customer-facing role is ideal for someone who can shape scalable, high-performing solutions, lead technical conversations in English and Italian, and align platform capabilities with client business goals. Travel is expected to be less than 20%.
Responsibilities
Lead solution architecture, design, and optimization for Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement, with a focus on Customer Insights – Journeys
Design, troubleshoot, and enhance CIJ capabilities including:
Journeys
Segments
Events
Insights
Lead Management
Email Templates
Consent Management
Related customer engagement components
Assess and implement performance, stability, and scalability improvements across D365 CE environments
Partner with customers to translate business objectives into effective configuration, customization, and architecture decisions
Support solution design for Customer Insights – Data, including data model planning, ingestion from external sources, and data availability for Customer Insights – Journeys
Architect and develop Power Apps solutions to support business and user experience needs
Design, customize, and administer UI, workflows, and business logic using the Power Platform
Build and maintain Power Automate solutions with internal processing logic and integrations across Dataverse and connected services
Define enterprise-level D365 CE architecture and support integrations with external systems and platforms
Work across Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, and other data sources to enable connected, reliable solutions
Engage confidently with technical stakeholders, business decision-makers, and client teams in workshops and delivery discussions
Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfer, and training to customers and internal stakeholders
Troubleshoot complex Power Apps, Dynamics 365, and architectural issues using strong analytical and collaborative problem-solving skills
Stay current on modern engineering practices, Microsoft ecosystem updates, and emerging tools, including AI-related capabilities where relevant
Contribute to structured solution evaluation and assessment activities, while maintaining coverage across all D365 CE apps
Qualifications
Fluent English and Italian language skills, with the ability to lead both business and technical conversations with customers
Must be located in Italy
Strong experience in a customer-facing Solution Architect, Technical Consultant, or similar role
Expert-level knowledge of Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys
Strong experience designing, supporting, and optimizing D365 CE solutions in enterprise environments
Advanced understanding of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement architecture and integration patterns
Extensive experience with Power App development
Strong capability in Power Platform configuration, customization, administration, and business logic design
Experience developing and maintaining Power Automate solutions integrated with Dataverse and other services
Familiarity with integrations involving Dataverse, SharePoint, Azure, and external data sources
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across changing tasks and stakeholder groups
Proven ability to deliver technical training, facilitate workshops, and resolve complex platform and architecture challenges
Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date with modern tools and engineering practices
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Data
Microsoft certifications at Architect and/or Functional Consultant level
Experience with Copilot Studio or other AI technologies
Knowledge of data analytics
