/ph3Main Responsibilities /h3ulliLead and support two experienced team members based in Trezzano /liliOversee monthly close activities, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of general ledgers, sub-ledgers, and related accounts /liliEnsure compliance with Trane Technologies' Standards of Internal Control, FICAP requirements, and reporting timetables /liliPrepare and review balance sheet reconciliations in line with internal control standards /liliCoordinate the preparation of statutory financial statements and audit files /liliManage statutory audits and ensure timely completion of all required statutory filings /liliSupport the tax function and liaise with external tax advisors to ensure accurate and timely filing of local tax returns /liliEnsure compliance with VAT, Corporate Income Tax, and Transfer Pricing requirements /liliPrepare quarterly US GAAP tax provisions using OneSource for relevant legal entities /liliLead and participate in MDI initiatives, including AI projects, automation, reporting improvement, and productivity actions /liliIdentify, address,
and resolve compliance issues within the area of responsibility /liliMonitor and use performance metrics and KPIs to support continuous improvement /liliBuild effective working relationships with business unit teams and cross-functional stakeholders /liliInternal interactions: RTR Finance Shared Services Team, Bangalore Senior Finance Leaders for both the RtR function and the Business units Tax , VAT, Treasury and Legal functions Corporate Reporting team Internal Audit and SOX teams /liliExternal interactions: External Auditors Tax advisors OdV Supervisory Board (LD ********) /li /ulh3What you will bring /h3ulliEssential Qualified accountant with a minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience /liliStrong experience with financial and tax systems such as Oracle and OneSource /liliGood knowledge of Italian GAAP and US GAAP /liliProven leadership capability, with the ability to operate effectively as a collaborative team player and trusted business partner.
/liliExperience as a people manager or coordinator, with innovation and promoting continuous improvement mindset.
/liliStrong communication, influencing, and interpersonal skills.
/liliAbility to manage high volumes of data accurately and work effectively under tight deadlines.
/liliProficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge and practical use of AI applications is considered a strong plus /liliFluency in English, both written and spoken.
Knowledge of another European language is welcome.
