We are looking to expand our team in our Voula office in Athens, Greece, and are seeking a highly organized and efficient Accounting Assistant to support our accounting and support departments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our processes. This is a full-time office position, requiring excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage supplier, client, partner and product databases
- Assist in reviewing,
analyzing and recording client and supplier invoices and expenses
- Support with the processing of accounts payable
- Work closely with the Accounting Manager, other team members, and cross-departments to prioritize business and information needs
- Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices
- Handling phone calls and email correspondence
- Filing, mailing, and other duties as needed
Qualified applicants should have:
- BS in Accounting, Economics, or other similar fields
- Native or near-native level of English and Greek (written and spoken)
- Proven working experience in Accounting field
- MS Office fluency
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with CRM systems (One page or similar)
