/p pWe are seeking an Grid Connection Engineer to support our ongoing and future projects in Italy.
/p pWhat will you help with?
/p ul liManagement of the entire grid connection process, including communication with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna, etc.); /li liDrafting and submission of medium and high voltage grid connection applications; /li liAnalysis of technical outcomes (STMG/STMD) and verification of technical feasibility; /li liSupport during the development and permitting phases of projects, with a focus on electrical aspects; /li liCollaboration with legal, permitting, and project management teams; /li liEstimating costs and scheduling activities related to grid interconnection works; /li liCoordination with designers and support in designing connection-side systems; /li liSupport in preparing tender processes for grid interconnection works, including defining the scope of work, reviewing bids, and selecting contractors; /li liEvaluation of offers and follow-up during the tendering process; /li liSupport in preparing contracts to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with OPDENERGY's requirements; /li liManagement and supervision of engineering and construction activities related to grid connection works,
in coordination with Project Managers and Site Engineers; /li liParticipation in key phases of commissioning; /li liPerforming site surveys and audits during construction.
/li /ul pRequirements: /p ul liDegree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field; /li liAt least 2–3 years of previous experience in the field of electrical connections for renewable energy plants; /li liProven experience in the construction of HV substations; /li liProven experience in the construction of grid works with E-distribuzione; /li liKnowledge of the Italian Grid Connection Process (and TICA); /li liExcellent knowledge of the technical regulations for grid connection in Italy and processes with Terna and local distributors; /li liAbility to read and understand electrical diagrams, project drawings, and technical documentation; /li liGood knowledge of electrical design software and Microsoft Office package; /li liProactive mindset, autonomy, and a strong team-working attitude; /li liWritten and spoken English proficiency.
Spanish is a Plus /li /ul pPreferred Skills: /p ul liKnowledge in Electrical, Mechanical Civil Engineering is considered an advantage; /li liExperience in the construction of renewable energy plants (solar, wind batteries) is considered an advantage.
