As a Network Engineer in NTT DATA's Managed Services, you support a major international automotive client from the Rome site, ensuring continuous, SLA-driven network operations.
You collaborate with a global team to deliver reliable service, handle on-site activities, and contribute to customer satisfaction.
The role involves on-call support, incident handling, and hands?on configuration and optimization of network gear.
You will shape service delivery through routine changes, troubleshooting, and performance tuning, within a diverse, inclusive culture.
Daily Onsite Service
Perform standard changes (AP, Switch, etc.) and handover to Operations
Local troubleshooting including configuration
Break & Fix support
Major Change support
Local spare parts management
Performance testing support
Performance tuning and optimization support
Equipment Configuration Cleaning and Hardening support
Backup / DR testing support
Reporting
Escalating unresolved issues to Central NOC
Strong communication and customer service skills
Team working and collaborative approach
Eager to learn
Good understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, DHCP)
Familiarity with ticketing systems (ServiceNow)
Ability to follow scripts and documented procedures
Confidence in troubleshooting of hardware/software
Minimum 6-12 months of experience in service delivery
Able to work in international environment using English (speaking and writing)
