Are you a mechanical or a processing engineer with relevant professional experience in a sales role for injection moulding, mould making or hot runners companies? Would you like to be part of a broad technical sales team who works providing the best technical solutions for customers? We are looking for an experienced, dynamic, results-oriented and willing professional, who loves interfacing with local and Group colleagues and customers worldwide.
Scope of the role
The role is dedicated to further developing hot runner sales in the dedicated area, with very important relation and coordination responsibilities towards internal and external stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
Establish and develop close business relationships at multiple levels with current and new potential customers and their end customers
Call prospective customers to qualify business opportunities and customer needs and assess Thermoplay potential
Uncover opportunities for new equipment or refurbishing
Regularly prepare and develop clear precise customer presentations explaining Thermoplay products and services
Assist customers by providing technical expertise and product information, and offering solutions and recommendations
Provide a high level of customer sales‐related service
Respond to requests for assistance with problems on moulds, hot runners, controllers or overall systems
Work cross‐functionally with global sales, engineering, manufacturing, etc. representatives inside the group
Value sell advantages over competitors' products and/or services
Get RFQs, follow up on quotes, and close sales
Report back to upper management written reports on customer needs, KPIs, problems, interests, activities etc.
Attend trade shows and conventions and travel to existing and prospective customers
Education, technical and soft skills, competences requested
University degree in the field of plastics: mechanical engineering, process engineering or technical training with relevant professional experience
