As Packages Engineer , you will respond to the Head of Mechanical Department and be part of the ENCAR .
Responsibilities
- Preparation of technical specifications, test requirements and material requisitions; preparation of equipment package documentation, information, communications, data sheets, engineering specifications, and ensuring conformance to all Codes. Participation in kick‑off, pre‑inspection meetings (PIM) and supplier coordination meetings.
- Technical evaluation of vendor quotations including preparation of technical bid comparisons.
- Ensuring each package is delivered in compliance with the specified technical requirements, within the agreed schedule and approved budget to achieve its successful transition into operation.
- Continued multi‑disciplinary coordination of packages.
- Review and comment on vendor documentation, in coordination with other disciplines; review and verification of related detail design engineering documents.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Minimum 5 years as package engineer with International Main Contracting & Engineering Companies.
- Knowledge of process packages for process and utilities, such as TEG Dehydrator/Regeneration Package, Dehydrator/desalter, Water Desalination, Water treatments (clarifiltration, sand/ultra‑filtration, reverse osmosis, molecular sieves,
Waste Water treatments, Deoiling packages, Chemical dosing Packages), Air fractionation, N2 production (by membranes/PSA/cryogenic systems), H2 recovery, Refrigeration Packages, etc.
- Willingness to travel abroad based on the projects you will work on and within the assigned project.
