Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Manager role based at San Clemente Palace in Venice. The Sales Manager leads revenue generation for the property by developing and executing sales strategies across key segments, including leisure, corporate, and group business. Daily responsibilities include identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, nurturing relationships with existing clients, and preparing tailored proposals and contracts. The role manages the sales pipeline, conducts regular market and competitor analysis, and collaborates closely with revenue management, marketing, and operations to optimize occupancy and rate. The Sales Manager also represents the hotel at trade shows and industry events, oversees reporting and forecasting, and ensures all sales activities align with brand standards and guest experience objectives.
Candidates should possess strong sales and account management skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and closing to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
Candidates should possess hospitality and hotel sales experience,



ideally within luxury or upscale properties, with knowledge of corporate, leisure, and group segments.
Candidates should possess customer relationship management skills, including use of CRM systems, pipeline management, and long-term client retention strategies.
Candidates should possess analytical and forecasting skills, with the ability to interpret market data, prepare sales reports, and collaborate with revenue management on pricing decisions.
Candidates should possess excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to deliver persuasive proposals, conduct site inspections, and represent the hotel at industry events.
