Job Purpose/Role
Based in Milan and reporting to the Casualty Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Personal Accident risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also a contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Personal Accident Team.

Based in Milan and reporting to the Casualty Team, you will be in charge of developing and executing the strategy for the Personal Accident risks into the Italian market. With strong ties to the Group, you will also support the local strategy to ensure the successful achievement of the Allianz Mid Corporate targets. You will be also a contact person for agents and/or brokers working with the Personal Accident Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Steer and control the portfolio at local level in conjunction with the Head of Personal Accident to drive the achievement of financial targets.
- Proactively liaise with functional areas to review performance of end-to-end underwriting life cycle.
- Work closely with Sales departments, Claims and other product lines to achieve key marketing strategies, including cross‑selling.
- Ensure underwriting consistency and underwriting discipline and adherence to all corporate guidelines and authority levels, including Rules and Principles, Underwriting Authorities, corporate governance rules and local regulatory framework.
- Proactively support the development and implementation of new and/or modified products
- Support the acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including agent and broker negotiations)
- Communicate local business strategy externally
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
- Master's degree in Economics
- 1/2 years of proven experience in underwriting profitable Personal Accident business for Corporate Clients
