The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,9 operational and + 0,7 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW. We are seeking an Grid Connection Engineer to support our ongoing and future projects in Italy. Management of the entire grid connection process, including communication with grid operators (e-distribuzione, Terna, etc.); Drafting and submission of medium and high voltage grid connection applications; Analysis of technical outcomes (STMG/STMD) and verification of technical feasibility; Support during the development and permitting phases of projects, with a focus on electrical aspects; Collaboration with legal, permitting,
and project management teams; Estimating costs and scheduling activities related to grid interconnection works; Coordination with designers and support in designing connection-side systems; Support in preparing tender processes for grid interconnection works, including defining the scope of work, reviewing bids, and selecting contractors; Support in preparing contracts to ensure that works are carried out in accordance with OPDENERGY’s requirements; Management and supervision of engineering and construction activities related to grid connection works, in coordination with Project Managers and Site Engineers; Participation in key phases of commissioning; Performing site surveys and audits during construction.
