Primary Purpose
Assists with all aspects of I&E; on an offshore production platform. Executes day to day I&E; activities according to safety standards. Coordinates and completes documentation and activities necessary. Ensures production equipment is maintained according to company standards.
Assists teams with developing solutions to rectify issues that may hinder production activities. Works with interdisciplinary offshore teams to develop solutions to mitigate production stoppages due to repair/ maintenance activities on production platforms.
Roles And Responsibilities
Ensure that regular preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance / repair activities and special projects involving electrical systems are performed in a timely manner so as to prevent downtime, ensure the efficient and continual functioning of all electrical equipment on board the production platform
Direct hands-on participation in executing and supervising instrumentation and electrical maintenance activities, both routine and non-routine, across the platform
Problem solve and properly plan all electrical projects which may include installing wire and connecting electrical components to various motors, all electrical power generation sources, rectifiers and circuits, transformers, power dis
