Role Description The System Administrator will manage, monitor, and maintain the university’s IT infrastructure and services, ensuring stable and secure operations across servers, networks, and related systems. Day-to-day responsibilities include installing and configuring operating systems and applications, performing routine system updates and backups, and proactively identifying and resolving performance or availability issues. The role involves providing technical support to academic and administrative staff, diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software, and network problems, and escalating complex issues when necessary. The System Administrator will collaborate with IT colleagues on security measures, access control, documentation, and continuous improvement of services in alignment with institutional policies and best practices.
