Job Purpose/Role
The candidate would be required to provide support to the Non Motor Actuarial Office across the full spectrum of Pricing analysis.
The Individual's Key Responsibilities Are Listed Below
Support the data ingestion and data transformation procedures
Data exploration, transformation and cleaning procedures
Structuring data science solutions to achieve a given set of business objectives
Build and prototype analysis and Machine Learning models and support their implementation and deployment in the systems of the company
Model customer’s behavior based on market and competitor’s analysis
Implement and enhance dashboards and business intelligence tools to support risk analysis and portfolio management
Implementation of Radar Base Projects for Impact Analysis/Scenario Testing
Implementation of the tariff (both Technical and Commercial), discount, UW rules, renewal process in Radar Live in accordance with technical specification provided by Pricing Actuaries, Product Development and Anti-Fraud people
Doing Research and Development to find new technical solutions
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience
PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (i.e. computer science, mathematics, physics, statistics or engineering)
2-3 years working experience in a similar role
Good hands-on knowledge of programming languages (e.g. Python, SAS or R)
Experience with Pandas or SQL for data manipulation and analysis
Familiarity with machine learning techniques like gradient boosting machines and linear models
Passion and ability for data exploration, analysis and modelling in order to design and develop systems to support strategic business decisions
Preferably knowledge of the Tower Watson Suite: Emblem, Radar
Fluent in Italian and English
Ability to work independently as well as engage and interact with different stakeholders
