ppFor our Aldiana Club Rocca Nettuno Calabria, part of bDERTOUR Hotels Resorts and the DERTOUR Group /b, we are looking for an experienced, commercially minded and hands-on bHead of Finance /b who acts as a strategic business partner to the General Manager and actively contributes to the financial and operational success of the resort. /ppAs a member of the local management team, you will be responsible for all finance, accounting, controlling and compliance activities of the resort. Beyond ensuring accurate financial reporting, you will proactively analyze business performance, identify opportunities and risks, challenge assumptions and support the implementation of measures that drive profitability, efficiency and sustainable growth. /ppIn this role, you also serve as the key interface between the resort and the Group's central finance functions, ensuring compliance with Group Reporting, Accounting Policies, Governance requirements and internal Group standards. /ppThis is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional who combines strong technical expertise with a hands-on approach, leadership capabilities and a passion for the hospitality industry. /ph3Responsibilities: /h3h3Financial Management, Accounting and Compliance /h3ulliLead and manage all accounting and finance activities of the resort /liliEnsure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements /liliAct as key contact for Corporate Finance, ensuring compliance with IFRS reporting requirements and Group accounting policies /liliOversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and cash management processes /liliMonitor banking activities, liquidity planning and working capital requirements /liliCoordinate annual audits and act as the primary contact for auditors, tax consultants and authorities /liliEnsure compliance with all applicable Italian legal, tax and regulatory requirements, as well as Group and divisional policies, governance standards and compliance frameworks /liliMaintain effective internal controls,
monitor relevant legislative developments and cooperate closely with external legal, compliance and tax advisors where required /li /ulh3Business Performance, Controlling Commercial Steering /h3ulliLead the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasting cycles /liliMonitor financial and operational performance through KPIs, management reports and analytical reviews /liliWork closely with Headquarter departments such as Finance, Revenue Management, Commercial and Asset Management /liliMonitor, analyze and steer key hospitality performance indicators (e.g. Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, GOP/EBITDA, Personnel Costs, FB Costs and Ancillary Revenue Streams) /liliAnalyze variances against budget, forecast, prior year results and strategic targets and derive actionable recommendations /liliSupport investment decisions through CAPEX evaluations, feasibility studies and business case analyses /liliSupport department heads in cost management and profitability optimization /liliDrive continuous improvement of reporting processes and financial transparency /liliPrepare business reviews, financial analyses and management presentations for local management and headquarters /li /ulh3Leadership Business Partnering /h3ulliAct as trusted advisor and sparring partner to the General Manager on all financial and commercial matters /liliSupport strategic and operational decision-making through fact-based financial insights and recommendations /liliBuild strong partnerships with all resort departments to ensure financial objectives are embedded in day-to-day operations /liliLead, develop and motivate the local finance team /liliFoster a culture of accountability,
ownership and continuous improvement /liliEnsure effective collaboration with Corporate Finance and other group functions /li /ulh3Qualification: /h3h3Qualifications Experience /h3ulliBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or a related field /liliMinimum of 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounting or controlling, ideally in a leadership position /liliProven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and performance management /liliGood understanding of IFRS and international reporting standards /liliHospitality, tourism or service industry experience is highly desirable /liliStrong understanding of hotel business drivers and operational performance management /liliStrong knowledge of Italian accounting principles, taxation and statutory requirements /liliGood understanding of the Italian business, legal and regulatory environment /liliFamiliarity with regional structures in Southern Italy and/or Calabria is considered as advantage /li /ulh3Technical Skills /h3ulliAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel /liliExperience with financial systems /liliKnowledge of Dynamics, Opera PMS and other hospitality-related systems /li /ulh3Languages /h3ulliExcellent communication skills in English and Italian, German would be a plus /li /ulh3Competencies: /h3ulliStrong leadership and people management skills /liliBusiness partner mentality with the ability to work with stakeholders across different functions and levels /liliCommercial mindset with a strong focus on value creation and business performance /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail /liliAbility to make sound decisions and effectively prioritize responsibilities /liliExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills /liliStrong negotiation and relationship-building capabilities /liliStructured, reliable and highly organized working style /liliTeam player with a hands-on attitude and strong sense of ownership /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
