With five decades of experience, our systems ensure safe, efficient, and sustainable operations for a diverse range of customers and applications worldwide. /ppbr / /ppstrongSummary: /strong /ppIn this role, you will be responsible for testing electromechanical systems, verifying compliance with international safety and performance standards, and managing the product certification process for a range of industrial solutions. /ppYou will contribute to the development and launch of electrification and automation systems used in ports, airports, heavy industry, and transportation fields. /ppbr / /ppstrongResponsibilities: /strong /pulliDefine test equipments, procedure and condition to perform reliable testing /liliTest equipments to investigate performances of the defined range of product, when required, according to a long term plan /liliVariable Frequency Drives programming, settings and parametrization /liliDefine the instrumentation diagrams, together with the software developers, mechanical teams and suppliers /liliCollaborate closely with other teams to verify the existence and adequacy of type tests for current and new designs, providing expert technical input to support customer bids and product launches. /liliDesign, develop, and execute test plans for new and existing products both internally and at external (3rd party)
facilities /liliManage the preparation and validation of all necessary documentation, test reports, and evidence to support regulatory certification, audits, and customer requirements. /liliAnalyze and interpret test results, identify deviations, and collaborate with design teams to resolve issues and optimize product performance. /liliMaintain and continuously update the type test databases, including specialized records for seismic and other special tests, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility. /liliContribute to products qualification, validation (testing), and certifications (Class approval) activities /liliSupport engineering and quality teams during design reviews, FMEA sessions, and root cause analysis of non-conformities /liliPlan, design, and execute functional, mechanical, electrical, and environmental test procedures on products such as motorized cable reels, power units, charging interfaces, and distribution panels /liliEnsure products meet applicable regulatory requirements and standards (e.G., IEC, ISO, UL, CE, EMC, LVD, Machinery Directive) /liliManage certification processes with third-party laboratories and notified bodies,
preparing and maintaining all necessary technical documentation (e.G., test reports, risk assessments, declarations of conformity) /liliDefine and implement test protocols for type testing, design validation, and regression testing, both manual and automated /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongRequirements: /strong /pullistrongDegree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent /strong /liliSignificant experience managing type testing activities, preferably in electrical or mechanical component industries, with a focus on similar products. /liliDemonstrated leadership skills with experience managing technical projects. /liliExcellent organizational and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail. /liliStrong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to type testing and product certification (e.G., IEC, IEEE, ..). /liliStrong understanding of testing procedures and protocols, including execution and reporting. /liliRead and write electrical diagram, understanding of hydraulics diagrams is a plus. /liliFamiliarity with quality systems (e.G., ISO 9001, ISO 14001) and CE/UKCA marking processes /liliFluency in strongEnglish and Italian are mandatory to be successful in the role /strong /liliExperience with programming motor drives and setting programming parameters (ABB, Siemens, Vacon-Danfoss, Yaskawa) /li /ulpbr / /ppemCandidates not in line with the requirements described above will not been taken into consideration. /em /ppbr / /ppstrongemuPlease attach your updated CV in English to your application. /u /em /strong /ppbr / /p
