We are looking for a highly analytical and experienced Credit Risk Manager. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the consumer credit sector, with a strong focus on underwriting both retail and corporate portfolios. You will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness, managing risk provisions, and ensuring full compliance with regulatory reporting standards.
Responsibilities
- Credit Underwriting: Perform comprehensive credit analysis and decision-making for both Retail and Corporate applicants, ensuring alignment with the company’s risk appetite.
- IFRS 9 Stage Management: Oversee the Credit Reclassification process, ensuring assets are accurately categorized into Stages according to international accounting standards and Default Definition
- Regulatory Reporting: Lead the preparation of reports regarding asset quality, stage migration, and "Non-Performing Exposure" (NPE) ratios for regulatory authorities.
- Reporting: delivering regular reports to the top management on risk exposure and the adequacy of the bad debt reserve
- Portfolio Monitoring: Analyze consumer credit trends and performance indicators to identify early warning signs of credit deterioration.
- Policy Development: Contribute to the refinement of credit policies and scoring models to optimize the balance between growth and risk.
Qualifications
The minimum requirements we are seeking:
- Proven Experience: Minimum 5+ years in Credit Risk with specific expertise in IFRS 9 impairment frameworks.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Credit Risk triggers and the qualitative/quantitative criteria for credit reclassification.
- Regulatory Expertise: Familiarity with EBA (European Banking Authority) guidelines on management of non-performing and forborne exposures.
- Analytical Background: Ability to interpret PD (Probability of Default), LGD (Loss Given Default), and EAD (Exposure at Default) models across different credit stages.
- Full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal) is mandatory.
