The selected candidate will contribute to the development, testing, and validation of engine and transmission calibration solutions, ensuring performance, drivability, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the vehicle development cycle. /ppbr / /ppstrongemResponsibilities /em: /strong /pulliDevelop, implement, and validate powertrain calibration solutions for engine and transmission systems. /liliPerform calibration and optimization activities related to drivability, torque management, gear shifting, idle speed, thermal protection, anti-stall, and component protection functions. /liliExecute vehicle testing and validation activities in various environmental conditions (hot, cold, altitude, and standard conditions). /liliAnalyze test data, identify issues, and propose corrective and preventive actions. /liliSupport functional, dysfunctional, and inter-system validation activities. /liliEnsure calibration delivery and integration according to project milestones and quality requirements. /liliPrepare technical reports, document test results, and maintain calibration databases and repositories. /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and technical review committees.
/liliContribute to the development of automated tools and processes for data analysis and validation activities. /liliSupport software and calibration releases, ensuring compliance with performance, emissions, and quality targets. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongemRequirements /em: /strong /pulliBachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. /lili2 to 5 years of experience in automotive calibration, powertrain development, or vehicle validation activities. /liliKnowledge of engine and transmission calibration principles, drivability assessment, and powertrain systems. /liliExperience with calibration and data analysis tools such as INCA, MDA, CRETA, Concerto, Optisim, or equivalent. /liliFamiliarity with vehicle testing, data acquisition, and validation methodologies. /liliUnderstanding of control systems, vehicle communication networks (CAN), and basic electrical concepts. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills. /liliProficiency in Microsoft Office tools. /liliValid driver's license and availability to participate in vehicle testing activities. /liliFluent English, both written and spoken. /li /ulpbr / /ppstrongemWork location: /em /strong on-site, Michigan (USA). /ppbr / /ppstrongemInternational mobility hiring process: /em /strongFor international opportunities, selected candidates may initially be employed under a local contract aligned with project and mobility requirements.
