VelaFi is seeking a technically minded and customer-focused Solutions Engineer (API Integration & Project Management) to support customer onboarding and API integrations across Latin America.
This role serves as the technical-commercial bridge between customers and VelaFi's internal teams, ensuring API implementations are delivered efficiently while providing an exceptional customer experience. You will work closely with Account Executives, Customer Success, Product, and Engineering to guide customers from technical discovery through production launch, minimizing integration friction and accelerating time-to-value.
The ideal candidate has experience managing technical implementations, understands REST APIs and modern integration workflows, and enjoys collaborating across multiple departments to solve customer challenges. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about fintech, APIs, and cross-border payments who wants to make a direct impact in a fast-growing global company.
Location: Preferred: Remote within Latin America
This is a fully remote position.
Candidates should be based within Latin America and have the ability to collaborate across multiple time zones while supporting customers throughout the region.
Key Responsibilities
API Integration & Project Management
Manage customer API onboarding from kickoff through production go-live.
Break implementation projects into structured milestones including discovery, sandbox, UAT, production deployment, and launch.
Track implementation progress, proactively identify risks, and remove blockers to ensure successful integrations.
Own project timelines while coordinating activities across customers and internal teams.
Technical Customer Enablement
Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customer developers throughout the integration process.
Troubleshoot API authentication issues, JSON payloads, webhooks, HTTP status codes, and integration errors.
Utilize tools such as Postman and cURL to v
