We are looking for a Purchasing Manager to lead the procurement function across two iconic hospitality destinations in Milan – Palazzo Cordusio and Torre Velasca – covering our Hotels & Resorts Division, Members Club and F&B; outlets.
The Purchasing Manager will oversee sourcing and procurement across all divisions, ensuring the highest quality at the best value. This role requires strong skills in negotiation, budgeting, and supplier relationship management.
Main responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Operations
- Purchase equipment, goods,
and services at the best value without compromising on quality.
- Develop and implement purchasing policies and cost-saving strategies.
- Forecast product demand and manage stock levels efficiently.
- Conduct market research to identify and evaluate new suppliers and products.
- Ensure timely reordering and availability of essential materials and consumables.
Supplier Management & Negotiation
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local and international vendors.
- Negotiate short and long-term contracts to secure favorable terms.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure alignment with quality and ethical standards.
- Keep updated supplier records, price histories, and contract documentation.
Financial & Cost Control
- Monitoring procurement spend against budget and identifying cost-saving opportunities;
- Reviewing price variances and supplier terms;
- Managing and supporting tender processes and contract negot
