We are looking for two indepedent cooks to join our team. Who are we? We are Vietnamees-Chinees Restaurant Mekong, where we prepare authentic Asian dishes and delicious food. Our address is: Kerkplein 11, 8325 BN Vollenhove WELCOME What will you do? * Independently prepare dishes according to our menu. * Monitor hygiene and HACCP standards. * Work together with a passionate team and support colleagues during busy periods. * Manage and check stock and orders. * Supervise and guide kitchen assistants. * Prepare ingredients independently. * Apply basic cooking techniques. * Provide input regarding the composition and modification of menus, dishes and cooking methods. * Be responsible for stock and ordering management. * Provide professional guidance and technical supervision to kitchen assistants.

Who are we looking for? * You are able to work independently but can also work well as part of a team. * You are passionate, creative and have an eye for detail. * You are flexible and able to work well under pressure, including during busy periods. * You have a good understanding of hygiene regulations and food safety. * MBO Level 3 or equivalent. * Demonstrable knowledge of basic cooking techniques.
