Liberty Mutual Surety™ has an excellent opportunity for a Surety Field Underwriter with our team in Milano (Italy). In this role, you will be responsible for soliciting, marketing, underwriting and servicing moderately complex risks for a book of business/assigned agents/brokers within the country. This includes underwriting new and existing surety accounts in conformance with underwriting guidelines to determine if they meet risk acceptability standards and/or the strategy of the organization, assisting in the review and analysis of risks that are small to medium in size and complexity,
performing financial and credit analyses of bond submissions and making recommendations/taking action as appropriate. You are also accountable for developing and executing field marketing plan as directed and demonstrating Surety knowledge necessary to independently underwrite business
Job responsibilities
Markets, underwrites & services moderately complex risks for a book of business, with supervision for more complex/higher risk accounts and cases. This may include 1-3 large complex/higher risk accounts but is weighted towards moderate/lower-risk accounts. Supports efforts to implement underwriting strategy.
Demonstrates comprehensive knowledge and solicits surety
