Job Purpose:
The role of Patent Counsel at CNH will be to secure and maintain the IP Rights of the company, minimize IP risks associated with commercialization, and facilitate business activities.Patent Counsel will interface with all departments of the company.Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out patent investigations, freedom-to-operate studies, and patent landscape studies and prepare patent opinions.
- Advise Product Development on patent infringement issues, design-around options, and patentability of proposed designs.
- Carry out patent due diligence and patent asset valuations.
- Police an assigned portion of the patent portfolio of CNH.
- Review patents and patent activities of competitors. Review products for patentable ideas.Review and evaluate invention disclosures.
- Monitor company activities to prevent Intellectual Property infringement. Monitor competitors' products for possible
