Operations Manager - Logistics
Job Summary
The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and optimizing logistics operations, ensuring service excellence, operational efficiency, cost control, and compliance with safety standards. The role leads operational teams, monitors performance KPIs, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily warehouse and logistics operations, including inbound, storage, and outbound activities.
- Ensure achievement of service levels, productivity, quality, and cost targets.
- Monitor operational KPIs and implement corrective actions when needed.
- Lead and develop operational teams, promoting a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize processes and resources to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to support business growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or supply chain operations management.
- Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of WMS/TMS systems and continuous improvement methodologies.
