ppRINA is currently recruiting for a bHSE Regulatory Compliance Technical Safety Specialist /b to join its office in bMilan or Genoa /b within the bPlant Engineering /b Division. /p h3Mission /h3 pWe are seeking a dedicated HSE Regulatory Compliance Technical Safety Specialist to play a key role in advancing our Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance initiatives across diverse projects and operations. /p pThe appointed individual will ensure rigorous adherence to relevant statutory and technical mandates, focusing heavily on directives such as the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), Machinery Directive, and standards governing fire prevention and firefighting systems. /p pThis role suits professionals eager to deepen their expertise in regulatory frameworks, engineering safety protocols, and industrial risk management within a vibrant, international organisational setting, contributing to safer and more sustainable industrial practices. /p h3Key Accountabilities /h3 h3Regulatory Compliance /h3 ul liLead the execution and continuous enhancement of comprehensive HSE regulatory compliance programmes, ensuring alignment with evolving legislation. /li liContinuously monitor and analyse European Union and national regulations pertinent to industrial safety and environmental stewardship, providing timely updates and actionable insights to internal stakeholders. /li liSupport cross-functional teams in achieving compliance with legal obligations, permits, directives, and internal HSE standards through expert guidance and advisory. /li liCoordinate and participate in regular compliance audits, inspections, and regulatory reviews to uphold and validate adherence to mandatory requirements. /li /ul h3Technical Safety /h3 ul liOffer authoritative expertise on technical safety related to key regulatory frameworks including the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), Machinery Directive/Machinery Regulation, and CE marking procedures. /li liAdvise on and ensure implementation of fire prevention strategies and firefighting system standards to mitigate risks effectively. /li liContribute to industrial safety by supporting risk management measures and engineering compliance assessments across company assets and projects. /li liCritically review and evaluate technical documentation, risk assessments, and engineering deliverables from a regulatory compliance and safety perspective,
ensuring thoroughness and accuracy. /li liFacilitate safety studies, hazard identification processes, and compliance evaluations to proactively address potential risks and technical safety concerns. /li /ul h3Project Support /h3 ul liWork collaboratively with engineering teams and project managers to integrate compliance requirements seamlessly into project planning and execution phases. /li liAssist in conducting project reviews, equipment conformity assessments, and support commissioning activities to guarantee regulatory adherence from concept to operation. /li liMaintain communication channels with notified bodies, certification authorities, engineering contractors, and consultants, ensuring smooth coordination and conformance to HSE standards. /li /ul h3Risk Assessment Continuous Improvement /h3 ul liParticipate in identifying, assessing, and mitigating HSE risks throughout operational processes and capital projects. /li liContribute to the development, tracking, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. /li liEngage in initiatives designed to enhance HSE performance, streamline compliance activities, and integrate best practices within the organisation. /li /ul h3Education /h3 pBachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Environmental Science /p h3Qualifications /h3 ul liPossess a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (General) or Environmental Science, underpinning technical and scientific expertise. /li liBring a minimum of 3 to 5 years of applied experience in Health, Safety, and Environmental compliance, technical safety, engineering compliance, asset integrity, or related industrial sectors. /li liDemonstrate comprehensive knowledge of key regulations and standards including the Pressure Equipment Directive (PED), Machinery Directive/Machinery Regulation, CE conformity processes, and fire protection systems. /li liExperience within industrial, manufacturing, energy,
