Job Title: Senior System, Dev Ops & Software Engineer Location: Milano Employment Type: Permanent, Full?Time Role Summary Are you passionate about building scalable cloud-native platforms, driving Dev Ops transformation, and delivering high-quality software solutions? We are looking for an experienced Senior System, Dev Ops & Software Engineer to join our team and contribute to cutting-edge Telco & Media consulting and systems integration projects. In this role, you will work on designing, implementing, and supporting modern application architectures based on Microservices, Cloud Native, Kubernetes, and Git Ops principles , helping customers accelerate their digital transformation journeys.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions. Architect and implement cloud-native applications and microservices-based platforms. Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using modern Dev Ops practices and tools. Manage and optimize on-premises and cloud-based IT infrastructure. Administer and harden Linux environments and support networking operations. Implement Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) and container orchestration solutions. Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or Power Shell. Drive code quality through code reviews, best practices, and design standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery environments.
Required
Skills & Experience *****+ years of experience in Software Engineering, Dev Ops, Systems Engineering, or related roles. Strong programming expertise in Java, Python, or Java Script. Hands-on experience with: Microservices Architecture REST APIs and Event-Driven Systems Docker and Kubernetes AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform Git, Azure Dev Ops, Git Hub Actions, or Git Lab CI Infrastructure as Code and Dev Ops Automation Strong Linux administration and networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs, Load Balancers). Experience with relational databases such as Postgre SQL, SQL Server, or My SQL. Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software delivery best practices.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant cloud, Dev Ops, or Kubernetes certifications are highly valued. Previous experience within the Telecommunications, Media, or Cloud Services industry is preferred.
