HEAD BARTENDERWe are looking for an experienced and hands-on Head Bartender to join the Food & Beverage team at Della Calza SPA & Foresteria in Florence.

(full time)The role is strongly operational and requires a professional who will be actively involved in the daily bar service, working behind the bar alongside the team while also taking responsibility for the development of the cocktail menu and signature drinks.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the daily bar operations, working actively behind the bar during servicePrepare and serve cocktails, wines, spirits, aperitifs and other beveragesDevelop and regularly update the cocktail and beverage menuCreate and standardise Della Calza's signature drinks, developing original recipes in line with the identity and positioning of the propertyDefine recipes, presentation, garnishes and preparation standards for the cocktail listEnsure consistency in taste, presentation and execution across the entire bar teamCoordinate and support the bar team during daily serviceOrganise mise en place, bar setup, opening and closing proceduresManage service flow, particularly during busy periods and private eventsMonitor stock levels and support inventory,



ordering and product rotationMaintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygieneTrain bartenders and bar staff on cocktail preparation, service standards and new menu itemsCollaborate with the F&B; and Events teams on dedicated beverage proposals for private events and special occasionsEnsure an attentive, professional and welcoming guest experienceRequirementsPrevious experience as Head Bartender, Senior Bartender or in a similar roleStrong cocktail preparation and mixology skillsExperience in cocktail menu development and signature drink creationGood knowledge of spirits, wines xysqume and beverage serviceStrong operational approach and willingness to work actively behind the barAbility to coordinate and train a bar teamCreativity combined with attention to costs, consistency and executionExcellent organisational and communication skillsAbility to work efficiently under pressureFlexibility to work evenings, weekends and during eventsGood knowledge of Italian and EnglishWe are looking for someone with a strong operational mindset and a creative approach to mixology, capable of leading by example behind the bar while developing a distinctive beverage identity for Della Calza.
