They work closely with Risk and Compliance to create internal risk management and compliance processes, and make sure they're running efficiently.We're looking for a motivated Internal Auditor who specialises in financial crime to support regulatory audits.

Let's get in touch.What you'll be doingDeveloping and executing audit programmes under internal policies, regulatory requirements,
and professional standardsOptimising data usage in the audit process to enhance risk understanding and deliver pertinent insightsProviding input and assisting in identifying relevant risks and regulatory requirements for audit scopesInteracting with staff to obtain a comprehensive understanding of relevant risks, controls, and processesCommunicating and discussing findings directly with business unit managementDeveloping audit reports that identify deficiencies and root causes while providing recommendations that add valueConducting research and completing assigned training requirements to maintain professional relevancePartnering with business units to develop recommendations for process optimisation, internal control, and compliancePerforming follow-up reviews of deficiencies noted during previous auditsMonitoring audit progress against timelines and managing xysqume projects to completion, escalating where requiredWhat you'll need3+ years of experience in an audit-related role within a regulated financial services environmentComprehensive knowledge of the current regulatory environment, including EU money laundering directives, JMLSG, and FATF guidanceFamiliarity with financial crime controls, such as KYC/KYB, due diligence, transaction monitoring, and sanctions screeningMotivation to learn, grow, and have an immediate impact as part of an expanding teamNice to haveExperience in a fast-paced environment with a focus on executionAn undergraduate or master's degree in a quantitative disciplineProficiency working with and interpreting data using SQL, SAS, or Python
