Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Frontend Software Engineer to work on a contract basis to develop and maintain user interfaces for web applications. The role involves implementing responsive designs, integrating with backend systems, and optimizing frontend performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain responsive, accessible frontend components using modern JavaScript frameworks.
- Collaborate with designers and backend engineers to translate UI/UX wireframes into high-quality code.
- Optimize application performance and ensure cross-browser compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural discussions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 with experience in responsive design.
- Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Strong understanding of web accessibility standards and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with state management libraries like Redux or Context API.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of frontend build tools such as Webpack, Babel, or Vite.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Jest, Mocha, or Cypress.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
