you will oversee end-to-end local financial operations for our Italian legal entities: /pulliMFM Investment Ltd (Italian Branch / MFM Italy): Authorised and supervised by CONSOB and the Bank of Italy (BOI). /liliMFM Future SRL: Registered insurance broking entity regulated by IVASS. /li /ulpIn this position, you will lead a local team of 2 finance professionals in Milan, collaborate closely with Group Finance and FPA, and manage key relationships with external advisers and audit partners. /ppbResponsibilities /b: /ppCore focus (essential) /pulliLead end-to-end accounting for the Italian entities, ensuring the general ledger in NetSuite is accurate, complete and up to date. /liliDirect all statutory, management, and general ledger accounting operations for MFM Italy and MFM Future SRL in accordance with local Italian accounting standards (OIC) and IFRS. /liliOversee and optimise our core ERP platform (NetSuite), driving accuracy, ledger maintenance, and process automation. /liliLead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate local statutory account preparation and timely financial consolidation into Group reporting. /li /ulp2. Tax Management Intercompany Operations /pulliOversee Italian direct and indirect tax compliance (IRES, IRAP, withholding taxes, clients’ capital gains taxes, and VAT). /liliManage calculations and reporting for local partial VAT exemption (pro-rata VAT) applicable to our regulated financial and insurance services. /liliLead local Transfer Pricing (TP) documentation for intercompany transactions between UK and Italian entities, working closely with external tax advisers for specialist support. /liliPartner with the FPA team (who execute the TP calculations) to ensure intercompany charges are accurately documented and reflected across entity accounts. /liliMonitor changes in Italian tax and financial services regulation, assessing and communicating impact on the business. /li /ulpbAdditional Responsibilities /b /pp3.



Regulatory Compliance Support Governance /pulliOversee the financial data preparation and timely submission of local financial regulatory reports across both entities:ulliBank of Italy (BOI) and CONSOB filings for the Italian Branch. /liliIVASS regulatory reporting for MFM Future SRL. /li /ul /liliWork closely with internal compliance teams, regulatory advisers, and external audit teams to ensure full financial regulatory compliance in Italy. /li /ulp4. Leadership Stakeholder Management /pulliReport regularly to the Group Financial Controller on local entity performance, regulatory updates, and balance sheet integrity. /liliManage, mentor, and develop a local finance team of two people in Italy. /liliMaintain effective cross-functional relationships internally, as well as with external banking partners, advisers, and tax consultants. /li /ulpEducation Qualification: Master's Degree (Laurea Magistrale) in Economics, Finance, or Accounting. Professional accounting/auditing qualification (Dottore Commercialista or Revisore Legale) is strongly preferred. /ppExperience: 8/10+ years of relevant accounting and financial control experience, ideally (but not limited to) within regulated Financial Services, Wealth Management, Asset Management, or Fintech in Italy. /ppExperience in accounting firms will be highly regarded. /ppTax Transfer Pricing Knowledge: Practical experience with Italian corporate tax and partial VAT exemption (pro-rata VAT). Understanding of cross-border intercompany transactions and Transfer Pricing documentation is highly desirable. /ppSystems: Experience with NetSuite (or similar cloud-based ERP systems) and strong Excel capabilities. /ppLanguages: Business fluency in both Italian and English (written and spoken) is required for cross-border collaboration. /ppLeadership: Proven experience coaching direct reports. /ppNice to have: /pulliRegulatory Knowledge: Solid working understanding of financial regulatory reporting structures (Bank of Italy, CONSOB, and/or IVASS). /li /ulh3Location Working Pattern /h3pFull or tempo parziale, requirement of spending 3 days per week in the office, based in Milan (near Central Station). /ppThe contract will be fixed-term, and depending on the candidate's experience, the target budget for the gross annual salary (RAL) is between €32k and €50k.
