Your mission
Hiab is seeking a data-driven, proactive Sourcing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in vendor selection and the tracking of cost-reduction initiatives to hit annual productivity goals for your specific category. By utilizing global benchmarking and expert negotiation, you will work to maximize purchasing synergies and leverage company spend. We are seeking a collaborative professional who will take ownership of implementing sourcing category strategies and uncovering new opportunities. Your primary focus will be executing sourcing activities designed to minimize total acquisition costs and secure a benchmark total cost of ownership. you will drive organizational growth and profitability while maintaining exceptional standards for quality and delivery.
The successful candidate will oversee comprehensive sourcing operations, ensuring the stability of intricate multi-tier supply chains. This role involves active collaboration on Supplier Relationship Management and driving early involvement from key suppliers. You will report to our Category Manager Hydraulics.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate, identify, develop and execute sourcing activities across Hiab spend to optimize use of Hiab resources over the E2E product lifecycle addressing strategic commercial sourcing requirements, supplier preferencing, securing early focus on service and end-of-life requirements, supplier consolidation and pipeline to secure continuity of supply and emerging business needs
- Hiab RFQ preparation, analysis of data, preparation for negotiation and/or negotiation / business award according to delegation of auth
