Key Responsibilities

- Perform safe and efficient casing and tubing running operations during drilling and completion activities.
- Operate hydraulic and mechanised Power Tongs and Back-Up systems.
- Operate and assist with Casing Running Tools (CRT/CDS) and associated handling equipment.
- Operate or support Flush Mounted Spiders, elevators, slips and tubular handling equipment.
- Support mechanised and automated tubular running systems where applicable.
- Assist with Pick-Up & Lay-Down systems and tubular handling operations.
- Perform correct rig-up, pressure/function testing, operation and rig-down of TRS equipment.
- Monitor make-up torque and connection parameters using torque-turn / JAM monitoring systems.
- Ensure tubular connections are made up in accordance with OEM, API and client requirements.
- Support casing, tubing and completion-string running operations.
- Conduct pre-job equipment inspections and operational checks.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting and minor field repairs on TRS equipment.
- Identify equipment defects and report maintenance requirements promptly.




- Assist supervisors in preparing equipment and tools prior to mobilisation.
- Complete operational checklists, equipment reports and job documentation accurately.
- Participate in pre-job meetings, toolbox talks, JSA/JHA and risk assessments.
- Maintain strict compliance with company, client and rig-site HSE procedures.
- Exercise Stop Work Authority whenever unsafe conditions are identified.
- Support the objective of minimising personnel exposure within the rig-floor red zone.
- Maintain good housekeeping and ensure equipment remains safe, clean and operationally ready.
- Work closely with Drilling Contractors, Client Representatives, Rig Crew and other service companies.
- Support junior personnel and contribute to competency development within the TRS crew.

Required Experience

- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in Tubular Running Services.
- Proven field experience with casing and/or tubing running operations.
- Practical experience operating Hydraulic Power Tongs and Back-Up systems.
- Experience with CRT, CDS or equivalent casing running systems.
- Experience with torque monitoring and connection make-up systems.
- Good understanding of casing and tubing handling procedures.
- Knowledge of common tubular connections and premium connections.
- Experience working on drilling rigs in onshore and/or offshore environments.
- Good understanding of rig-floor operations and associated hazards.

Preferred background: Experience gained with recognised international TRS organisations such as Weatherford, Expro, Baker Hughes, Odfjell Technology, SLB or equivalent service companies will be considered an advantage.
