Datalogic is offering an **AME Engineer**role, reporting to the AME Manager, he / she will collaborate with the Operations Engineering area.
- The **AME Engineer**supports the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team, a department that links R&D; and Production.
- Key Responsibilities: - Participate in new product design teams, together with R&D; and Quality, ensuring _design for manufacturability and testability_.
- Design testing tools and automated machines for manufacturing plants.
- Define assembly and testing procedures for production, estimate manufacturing costs, set time standards, and make the most cost-effective choices for tooling and processes.
- Support new product introduction in manufacturing plants.
- Provide troubleshooting and production support.
- Requirements: - Education:



Postgraduate degree in Electronic Engineering or a closely related electronics degree
- Languages: Italian, English fluent
- Experience: 2 - 5 years of relevant experience in a Manufacturing Company, preferred in tooling design
- Specific Skills: - Analog and digital hardware knowledge
- Software knowledge
- Electronic systems knowledge
- Willingness to travel abroad to manufacturing plants up to 4-5 times per year
- Attention to detail
- Flexibility, creativity, and proactivity
- Project management skills
- Ability to work in a dynamic team and in a complex environment
- Problem-solving skills
- Open-mindedness.
