Initially concentrating on developing Linux-based embedded software for connected vehicles, our journey has evolved launching a cloud division fulfilling the increasing market demand of big data analytics.
Adopting
Agile methodology, we ensure adaptability and iterative development in both embedded and cloud projects. We are seeking Junior Software Engineers to join our cloud and systems team. The ideal candidate possesses a strong foundation in computer science engineering—specifically in networking, web application mechanics, client-server architectures, and security principles.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, architectural definition, and implementation of secure, high-performance web applications and backend systems. While our core ecosystem relies on C# / .NET and Azure, we value strong architectural vision and core engineering concepts over specific tool knowledge. You will actively participate in projects centred around the following key topics:
- Design and implementation of scalable client-server architectures and RESTful APIs.
- Securing web communications, data transport, and application endpoints.
- System-level architectural choices for cloud-connected applications and big data ingestion.
RESPONSIBILITIES - Designing and implementing robust software architectures for web and backend platforms.
- Managing networking communications (HTTP/S, TCP/IP, WebSockets) between client and server components.
- Applying software security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption, secure API design).
- Analyzing application bottlenecks and optimizing architectural performance.
- Participating in technical design reviews and alignment meetings using Agile methodologies.
- Interfacing with customers to translate business needs into technical architectural requirements (Middle profiles). BASIC REQUIREMENTS (JUNIOR/INTERNSHIP PROFILES) ● Solid knowledge of Client-Server architecture and Web application fundamentals. ● Strong understanding of Networking concepts & protocols (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, TCP/IP, DNS). ● Understanding of Software Security principles (TLS/SSL, OAuth2/JWT, CORS, OWASP foundation). ● Knowledge of Software & Architectural Patterns (OOP, MVC, Microservices, Clean Architecture basics). ● Degrees in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (SENIOR PROFILES) ● Hands-on experience or familiarity with C# and .NET ecosystem (.NET Core / .NET 6+). ● Knowledge of SQL databases and ORMs (e.g., Entity Framework). ● Familiarity with cloud providers, specifically Microsoft Azure (App Services, Azure SQL, Functions). ● Version control systems (Git). ● Language: English, Italian (B2+). ● Work model: Hybrid.
Compensation and Benefits Package The final salary offer will be aligned with the candidate's background, skills, and professional experience, within the following reference ranges:
- Junior: €28,000 – €34,000 Gross Annual Salary In addition to the base salary, the comprehensive package includes the following benefits:
