For the Central Team of Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C;), we are looking for a Senior Cyber Insurance Underwriter to join our Cyber Insurance Team.

The Cyber Insurance

Function at GC&C; serves as the Group’s Centre of Competence for Cyber Insurance. As the central hub for expertise, innovation, and best practices, the team leads the development of advanced cyber insurance solutions, sets technical standards, and supports business units worldwide. By driving strategy, portfolio management, and continuous improvement, the function ensures Generali delivers market-leading protection and guidance to clients facing evolving digital risks.

Reporting directly to the GC&C; Global Head of Cyber Insurance, the Cyber Insurance Manager will lead large and/or complex cyber business to ensure strong underwriting performance and will provide underwriting leadership while effectively partnering with Generali Global Corporate & Commercial business units to execute underwriting strategy.

The Senior Cyber Insurance Underwriter will be responsible for:

- Driving strategic LOB portfolio management and ensuring profitability of the Cyber LoB
- Ensuring consistent and enhanced underwriting across the business and enforcing a rigorous underwriting process and monitoring system, as well as training of underwriting teams and creating a high performance culture
- Setting and delivering underwriting KPIs, delivering LoB plan, providing expert support
- Establishing exposure identification, risk assessment, risk response, control activities and monitoring of the LoB, as well as addressing emerging issues and identifying opportunities for growth or change within the global LoB
- Leading and managing the LoB underwriting strategy for product development and providing global LoB product upgrades and innovation
- Monitoring framework for underwriting decisions e.g. underwriting authorities, referrals and technical underwriting reviews
- Designing and implementing rating and pricing tools and methodologies jointly with the Technical Excellence function based on market developments and benchmarks and devising and managing data enhancement projects to enable appropriate data collection and access, to enhance business analysis and enhance portfolio steering and risk selection
- Developing, promoting and maintaining strategic partnerships both internally and externally

Requirements

- Experience in developing,



negotiating and implementing global and complex strategic business and service plan; providing input to business unit strategies
- Project management experience in a matrix environment
- Developing, expanding business opportunities, long-term customer relationships
- Identifying opportunities and emerging risks associated with changes external environment, looking forward 5+ years
- Experience in developing and achieving sustainable profits either directly or by providing support and development to local business units
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business/Economics/Law/Computer science and 7-10 years of experience in related field
- Quantitative, analytical mindset, problem solving skills
- Proven experience of LoB portfolio management and technical underwriting leadership
- Ability to build lasting relationships
- Assertiveness, strong communication and presentation skills
- Must be fluent in English, additional languages are an advantage (Italian is a plus)

What we offer:

The position will be offered at Job Level 7, under the terms of the ANIA National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL ANIA) for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Collective Agreement.

The starting gross annual salary will range between € 70.000 and € 80.000. The final compensation package will be determined in line with the candidate’s professional experience and the technical and soft skills relevant to the role and may also include an individual variable compensation component.
