Sales Manager – Tour Operators & Travel Agencies

Role Purpose
Develop and manage the portfolio of tour operators and travel agencies (leisure/FIT channel) at national and international levels, achieving production and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow the existing TO/TA account portfolio, identifying new business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts, rates, and commercial terms with tour operators and agencies in line with Revenue Management guidelines.
- Plan and carry out sales calls, fam trips, workshops, and participation in trade shows (e.g., TTG, BIT, ITB, WTM).
- Monitor individual account performance (production, pick-up, ADR) and prepare periodic reports.
- Work with the Contracting team on allotments and FIT/group terms.
- Manage relationships with assigned source markets (Italy and/or international markets).
Requirements:
- Degree in Economics, Management, or other STEM fields.
- At least 3-5 years of sales experience in hospitality/tourism, managing a TO/TA portfolio.
- Knowledge of the leisure market and contracting dynamics.
- Strong relationship-building, negotiation, and account-management skills.
- Fluent in Italian and English; a second language is a plus.
- Willingness to travel.
- Solid knowledge of distribution systems.
- Analytical skills and strategic vision.
