LHH Client Description: Are you passionate about advanced technologies and eager to work in leading industrial environments? We are looking for a Field Service Technician specialized in Automation to join a leading global company operating in the design and manufacturing of advanced packaging solutions and high-speed production equipment for the food, beverage, home and personal care industries.
You will receive comprehensive training and ongoing technical support to develop your expertise on high-tech machinery and production lines installed at major industrial clients in Spain and internationally.
Responsibilities The candidate will be directly responsible for:
- Install, commission and test industrial equipment, including single machines and complete production lines.
- Troubleshoot, prevent and perform corrective maintenance on electrical, mechanical and automated systems within high-speed production environments.
- Carry out accurate technical diagnostics, share feedback with internal support teams and propose effective corrective actions.
- Manage equipment upgrades and optimization activities, including hardware and software updates.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers and technical support teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Train and empower client operators and maintenance technicians to ensure efficient and safe equipment operation.
- Identify and report after-sales opportunities detected during customer site interventions.
- Fully comply with company and customer safety procedures, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout each intervention.
Your Profile The
Company will consider applicants that meet the following requirements:
- Technical degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrotechnics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Strong technical curiosity and genuine eagerness to continuously learn and develop new skills.
- Previous field experience is preferred, but strong motivation and willingness to learn on the job are also highly valued.
- Fluent English, essential for working effectively within an international and multicultural environment.
- Willingness to travel extensively, oftenmore than 90% of the time, and adapt to different international environments and customer sites.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, combined with a strong customer-service mindset.
