Human by nature. /p h3Position /h3 pAs bMaintenance Technician /b, you will perform routine and more complex maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance and installation activities on industrial process equipment and site utilities, promptly and safely, to minimize disruptions to site operations. /p pThe role requires availability to work on day shifts and to provide on-call support (night and weekends if needed) bfor our Site in Caronno Pertusella (-VA- Italy) /b. /p h3Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will /h3 ul liPerform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment, utilities and industrial plant systems. /li liSupport equipment recovery by diagnosing failures and working together with Production and Maintenance colleagues to restore operations. /li liCarry out installation, repair, adjustment and maintenance activities on pumps, gearboxes, compressors, valves, fans, piping systems, pneumatic systems and other industrial equipment.
/li liRead and use technical drawings, electrical diagrams and technical documentation when required. /li liIdentify recurring maintenance issues and share them with the Maintenance Supervisor / Maintenance Manager to support reliability improvement. /li liDocument completed work, deviations, spare parts used and follow‑up needs in line with site procedures and the maintenance management system. /li liCollaborate with Production, Engineering, EHS, Quality and external contractors when required. /li liContribute to strong housekeeping, safety, hygiene and product standards during and after maintenance activities. /li liWork in compliance with applicable local regulations, Givaudan standards, EHS requirements, product procedures and internal safety guidelines. /li liMay perform other tasks as assigned. /li /ul h3Academic background /h3 ul liTechnical diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Electromechanical discipline. /li liAdditional technical qualifications in welding, pipe fitting, electrical maintenance, pneumatic systems, pumps or industrial equipment repair will be considered a plus. /li liFor electrical profiles, PES / PAV / PEI certification, or equivalent electrical safety qualification, is required.
/li /ul h3Experience /h3 ul liOverall work experience of 5 years as a Maintenance Technician in an industrial manufacturing environment. /li liExperience in process industry, food ingredients, chemical, pharmaceutical, flavour, fragrance or similar industrial operations will be considered a strong advantage. /li /ul h3Technical knowledge /h3 ul liGood practical knowledge of industrial maintenance activities. /li liComfortable using hand tools, workshop equipment and testing devices safely. /li liBasic knowledge of maintenance management systems, SAP or similar tools is preferred. /li liBasic knowledge of Microsoft Office is preferred. /li liBasic English knowledge. /li liDriving licence and own car. /li /ul h3Personal attributes /h3 ul liStrong safety mindset and passion for doing things well. /li liHands‑on approach, curiosity and enthusiasm for finding practical solutions. /li liTeam player mindset and passion to collaborate with different functions. /li liReliability, flexibility and availability to support site needs. /li liStructured approach, with care for procedures and maintenance documentation. /li /ul pAt Givaudan, you contribute to delightful taste and scent experiences that touch people’s lives.
