Flight Operations Italy is responsible to conduct the development and the production test flights; there are other Functions within our Division involved in and impacted by Flight Operations: Maintenance Check Flights (owner: Customer Support), Demo Flights (owner: Sales), Demo Tour (owner: Marketing/Sales), Post-reassy in Country (owner: Program Manager), pre-owned helicopters acceptance (owner: Program Manager).

In order to manage effectively these operations, Flight Operations Italy is responsible to plan, coordinate and monitor the execution of the entire AW Italy flight activity.

Requirements

Each Test Pilot is assigned to a specific Project or Program, with the aim to interact with Chief Project Engineer and Program/Contract Managers, with Experimental Operations and with other Functions (inside and outside Engineering) for the achievement of program objectives.





The Test Pilot will support the Chief Project Engineer for the following activities:

- planning and execution of the flight test operations plans;
- providing operational guidelines (intended use) in order to achieve the Project or Program/Product objectives.

The Test Pilot must have proven knowledge in:
- aircraft systems;
- flight testing methodologies, techniques and experience;
- helicopter operations;
- airworthiness regulations and procedures;
- written and spoken English language;

Furthermore, the following soft skills are a must:
- communication and organizational skills;
- good leadership;
- systemic mindset;
- team working skills;
- problem solving
