Customer Data & CRM Support Intern Are you a detail-oriented student or recent graduate eager to gain hands-on experience in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), data quality, and international stakeholder engagement? Join our global team to help drive strategic customer data initiatives.
Location: Hybrid / Remote Duration: 6–12 months (flexible based on university requirements) Department: Customer Management / CRM Reporting To: Global Head of Customer Management About the Role We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer Data & CRM Support Intern to support a strategic initiative aimed at enhancing the quality, accuracy, and completeness of information within our CRM ecosystem. In this role, you will work closely with Sales teams and Customer Management stakeholders to gather, validate, and maintain customer information, ensuring that key data is accurately captured and made available for business insights and strategic CRM activities.
Key Responsibilities Customer Data Collection:
- Conduct structured interviews and follow-up discussions with Sales Representatives to gather key account information.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to understand available customer insights and identify missing data points.
Data Validation & Quality Management:
- Consolidate customer information collected from multiple business sources.
- Review, validate, and verify the accuracy and completeness of data before entry into company systems.
- Identify inconsistencies, duplicates, or missing information and coordinate corrective actions.
CRM Data Entry & Maintenance:
- Input validated information into the CRM and related systems accurately.
- Ensure data is recorded according to established governance and quality standards.
- Support ongoing updates and continuous maintenance of customer records.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement:
- Track progress of data collection activities and provide regular status updates to leadership.
- Support the Customer Management team in analyzing data completeness and quality trends.
- Contribute creative ideas to improve data collection processes and user adoption.
Qualifications Required - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Management, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- Enrolled as a Bachelor's or Master's student for the entire duration of the internship.
- Resident of Italy with a valid tax code (Codice Fiscale). Non-EU citizens must hold a valid Italian permit of stay (Permesso di Soggiorno).
- Strong attention to detail and a high commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) with the ability to conduct interviews and communicate effectively with international stakeholders.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong interest in Customer Relationship Management (CRM), customer analytics, or data governance.
- Previous experience with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) is a plus.
- Familiarity with data quality concepts and customer databases.
