How you will make an impact The purpose of this role is to develop and support long-term Capacity Planning, while enabling smarter commercial decision-making through data and business insight. As a strategic partner to Operations, Sales, Finance, the Business & Capacity Analyst will translate complex data into actionable recommendations that optimize capacity, enhance commercial performance, and support the achievement of business objectives.
- Capacity Planning & Analysis: Collaborate to the continuous improvement of long-term capacity planning processes, proactively identifying capacity gaps and optimization opportunities.
- Capex Plan Proposal: Analyze emerging capacity gaps to support the preparation of Growth Capex plan, addressing future production needs and expansion opportunities.
- Profitability Analysis: Analyze pricing performance, profitability, and margin evolution across customers, products, and market segments, identifying opportunities for optimization.
- Commercial Initiatives Support:
Support the development and implementation of commercial initiatives and conduct analyses in collaboration with Sales, Finance, and Operations.
- Contract & Negotiation Support: Provide analytical support during business negotiations, evaluating long-term capacity scenarios and potential trade-offs.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as cross functional point of contact for capacity- and commercial-related discussions, providing insights and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Process Improvement: Continuously refine capacity planning and commercial reporting processes, incorporating stakeholder feedback and enhancing tool capabilities to meet evolving business requirements.
- Executive decision making contribution: Provide data-driven insights, forecasts, and performance analysis to support C-suite decision-making
- Dashboards & Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to monitor capacity saturation, sales evolution and overall business outcomes.
What we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in an analytical role; exposure to project management and/or management consulting is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to gather data, analyze trends, and present insights in a clear and compelling format.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to build effective relationships across functions and levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills; ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience in operations research, linear optimization, and Python is a plus.
- Fluent in Italian and English, both written and verbal.
- Proactive and self-driven, with a positive attitude, strong sense of ownership, and a collaborative, humble approach to achieving results.

The role offers a minimum gross annual salary of €34,113, under the Chemical and Pharmaceutical Industry Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCNL) - Employee classification.
The final compensation package and employment level will be determined based on objective criteria, including the candidate’s experience, skills, and alignment with the requirements of the role.
