Within the Safety Critical Avionic Equipment Software organizational unit of the Electronics Division, we are looking for a Software Engineer for our Turin Caselle office. The person will mainly deal with the following activities:
- Definition and management of software requirements for avionic equipment
- Definition of Software architecture in terms of both Top Level Design and Detailed Design
- Writing code (Ada or C) that implements what is defined in the requirements and Design
- Software integration on the target
- Definition of test cases and related procedures based on requirements
- Structural Coverage Analysis activities
- V&V; activities in accordance with DO-178C or other standard (e.g. Eurofighter) Educational qualifications:
- Degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering Seniority:
- Senior Technical knowledge and skills:
- Knowledge of the fundamentals of electronics
- Knowledge of avionic communication buses (ARINC 429, CanAero, MIL-STD-1553)
- Knowledge of avionic software certification aspects (DO-178C)
- Skills in requirements analysis and the use of dedicated tools (DOORS)
- Knowledge of real-time operating systems (VxWorks653, PikeOS, Green Hills Integrity)
- Experience in implementing and developing real-time embedded systems
- Knowledge of modern single-core and multi-core microcontrollers
- Competence in general-purpose communication protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, UARTS)
- Experience in hardware/software integration processes and on-target debugging Behavioral skills:

- Experience in using tools for model-based design and code generation (Simulink, SCADE)
- Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Access)
