As a Railway System Engineer, you’ll be at the center of the vehicle architecture: requirements, interfaces, integration, testing. It’s the ideal role for someone who wants to understand how a train really works, not just a single component.
What You’ll Do (and why it’s exciting)
- Analyze system and subsystem requirements (doors, braking, toilets, PIS, HVAC, etc.).
- Manage electrical, mechanical, and software interfaces across multiple subsystems.
- Prepare and review technical documentation (SRS, ICD, FMEA, V&V;).
- Coordinate suppliers and internal teams during integration phases.
- Support testing, validation,
and troubleshooting activities on the vehicle.
- Contribute to configuration management and non‑conformity resolution.
This is a role where you don’t work on one subsystem — you work on the train as a system.
Who We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Automation, Transportation or similar).
- 2+ years of experience working with complex systems (railway, automotive, avionics welcome).
- Strong Italian and English communication skills.
- Analytical mindset, curiosity, and a desire to grow.
