DESCRIPTION OF THE ROLE:
As Global Comfort & Last Technician , reporting to Global Technical Senior Product Development,
you will assist the Global Onshore PD with the creation and validation of comfort anatomical lasts of new projects and existing NOOS, following standard best practices and guidelines.
You will create a standard framework for last and related tooling consideration development, adaptable to all relevant product constructions present in the organization.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The responsibilities and skills of this role are:
- Define and document the standard anatomic shape of lasts, w/o compromising on Bata STD fit measurements or core Bata engineering principles
- Liaise with PD Onshore & Design Team to create the last in accordance with design and fit intent that appropriately suits needs of Bata consumer across markets
- According to product type & construction advise Onshore and Offshore PD in the tooling (o/s) development.
- Advise and validate where anatomic last is compatible or not with product specificity, according to construction and manufacturing process.
