We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our team in the development of safety-critical software for railway applications.
The ideal candidate has solid experience in Embedded C development, real-time systems, and safety-critical environments, with knowledge of railway standards.
Main activities:
- Define, analyze, and manage software requirements.
- Design and develop Software Components according to the defined architecture.
- Develop, maintain, integrate, and debug embedded software in C.
- Perform static analysis and resolve identified issues.
- Write software specifications, test cases, and technical documentation.
- Support Unit Testing and Software Integration activities.
- Perform verification and validation in MIL, SIL, and HIL environments.
- Analyze logs and data acquisitions for debugging and troubleshooting.
Technical skills:
- Degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Automation, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in embedded software development using C.
- Experience in safety-critical software development, preferably in SIL2 or equivalent environments.
- Strong knowledge of C and embedded real-time systems.
- Good understanding of the V-Model development process.
- Experience with Git.
- Knowledge of railway standards EN 50128, EN 50657, and EN 50129.
- Experience in railway, automotive, aerospace, or other safety-critical industries is considered
