The role will report to the Inventory Evaluation and Inspection Manager and it will be based in Parma.Job PurposeEnsure the application and governance of inventory valuation principles, rules and procedures across managerial and statutory reporting views. Coordinate the centralized inventory valuation process, supporting business requirements, variance analysis and planning cycles and monthly actual closings. Manage FIFO/LIFO processes for raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished and finished goods for SAP-managed companies, ensuring accurate inventory revaluation entries and proper alignment between balance sheet and profit and loss accounts.Ensure consistency, integrity and reconciliation between physical and accounting stock, contributing to a reliable inventory representation in the Barilla Group Financial Statements. Participate in periodic physical inventory controls covering raw materials, packaging materials, semi-finished goods, finished
