POSITION SUMMARY
Provides technical support in maintaining all hotel systems, equipment, and facilities. Collaborate with the Maintenance Team by taking leadership during operations and handling complex maintenance tasks.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES
- Perform skilled repair and maintenance of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems
- Assist in preventive maintenance activities under supervisor guidance
- Support preventive maintenance activities for guest rooms and public areas
- Handle electrical repairs such as sockets, switches, lights, and fuses
- Repair plumbing issues such as leaks, blockages, and fixtures
- Ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and maintained properly
- Assist in recording maintenance logs, spare parts usage, and problem reports
- Respond immediately to guest room breakdowns and complex service requests
- Respond to engineering requests from other departments
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workshop and tools
- Report any abnormalities in equipment and building structure
- Act as shift-in-charge when Supervisor is not available
- Support fire & life safety tests including alarms, sprinklers, pumps, and emergency lights
- Technical knowledge in electrical and plumbing basics
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
