The role We are looking for a Project Manager. Not the kind that lives inside a Gantt chart. Not the general-contractor type who moves paper between trades and lets the work happen elsewhere. We are looking for someone who has been close to the manufacturing floor, who has watched projects go right and go wrong from the inside, and who at some point decided that the next thing to learn was how to keep the whole thing from breaking.
A fabricator who became a project manager. An installer who learned the contract side. A studio operator who
understands how a piece is actually made. The path matters less than the practical mind it produces.
You will own the journey of every project from the moment an order is signed to the day installation is signed off.
Your job is to make sure nothing falls between us and the other stakeholders: no missed dimensions, no late approvals, no detail that arrives as a surprise on site. We already have a Chief of Installation, an in-house installer, and a design team. You will not replace any of them.
You will be the person who makes their work possible by holding everything else together. This is not a purely technical role. WOOD-SKIN is a company built by designers for designers. Our clients come to us for the design intelligence we carry as much as for the surfaces we manufacture, and the Project Manager is one of the faces of that intelligence in front of architects, contractors, and client teams. Your taste, your eye, and your design judgment will be drawn on every week, and they will matter as much as your project discipline.
What you will do
You'll run the contract side of every project, from signed order to completion, across the full design phase sequence: schematic design, design development, construction documents, shop drawings, fabrication, installation, and sign-off.
