An exciting opportunity to join a global leading renewable energy investment and development company as an Origination PPA Manager, responsible for developing and executing the offtake and revenue strategy across a renewable energy and storage portfolio in Italy. Location: Ideally based in Milan (remote). Key Responsibilities PPA Origination & Offtake Strategy Develop and execute the offtake strategy across renewable energy and storage projects. Originate corporate, utility and bilateral PPAs and build relationships with utilities, traders, aggregators and large energy buyers. Assess optimal contracting strategies, balancing project bankability, value and merchant exposure. Monitor market trends, pricing benchmarks and regulatory developments. Commercial Negotiations Lead end-to-end negotiation and execution of PPAs and related commercial agreements. Structure competitive PPA solutions covering pricing, tenor, volume, shape, imbalance, credit support, Guarantees of Origin, curtailment and termination provisions. Coordinate with legal, finance,
development and risk teams throughout negotiations. Support EFET, ISDA and other relevant documentation where applicable. Italian Power Market & Financial Analysis Analyse GME markets, PUN and zonal prices, forward curves, capture prices, cannibalisation, negative pricing, congestion and imbalance exposure. Assess route-to-market costs, merchant risk, storage revenues and ancillary-services opportunities. Use market data from GME, Terna, GSE and ARERA to inform PPA pricing, bidding and revenue strategies. Support financial modelling, project valuation and investment decisions. Auctions & Support Schemes Lead participation in relevant Italian renewable energy and storage auctions and support schemes, including GSE auctions, FER X and MACSE where applicable. Develop bid strategies, pricing and commercial submissions in coordination with development, finance and international teams. Stakeholder & Contract Management Work closely
