QVC Group, Inc. is a Fortune 500 company with six leading retail brands: QVC, HSN, Ballard Designs, Frontgate, Garnet Hill, and Grandin Road.Your Opportunity, Your Team* The Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner, in order to maximize the company's net profit contribution.Where You'll Work* This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month; onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company.* This is a full-time temporary contract - maternity cover.What You'll Do Reporting to the Home Buying Manager, you will:* Source, select,
and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market.* Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions.* Work closely with the Planning team to review product performance, and to plan and grow the product range.* Monitor inventory levels, taking accountability for the return-to-supplier process.* Meet regularly with suppliers to review product performance.What You'll Bring* At least 2–3 years of experience as a home retail buyer.* A degree in Economics or equivalent; excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel; expertise in "home textiles" is highly appreciated.* Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.* A proactive mindset, strong personal accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.* Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams.* Fluency in English and Italian.
